He has worked with Emirates Bank International, ABN AMRO, Standard Chartered and HBL in the areas of corporates, commercial, SME and credit & risk management. Before joining Union Microfinance, he was Head of credit & risk management at Pak Oman Microfinance Bank Ltd. Mr. Mumtaz Has done MBA from the University of New Haven, CT, USA and BS from Indiana Tech USA.

Mr. Ali Pesnani has more than 18 years of work experience in the banking sector, starting his career with Citi Bank N.A. and progressively handling positions of increasing seniority in Samba Bank. He has then worked with Summit Bank as Group Head for Corporate and Investment Banking. Most recently, he has worked as Group Head – Senior Executive Vice President at JS Bank in various areas which include Retail, Branch Network, Consumer, SME, Commercial, Private Banking, Agri, Business Intelligence Unit and Corporate Bank
